The origin of of the game of Pig is unknown, but it was first described by John Scarne in 1945 in his book, "Scarne on Dice". Several games are derived from Pig, including the commercial game, "Pass the Pigs".
In Pig Dice 3D, it's you against the computer! To play, roll the die. The points on the die are added to the bank. If you roll a 1, play goes to the computer and you forfeit your banked points. During your turn, add the banked points to your score, and play returns to the computer. Be the first to score 100.
Pig Dice 3D simulates the physics of a real-world die, not a random number. Also, your computer opponent uses an optimal algorithm developed by Todd Neller and Clif Presser of Gettysburg College. You literally cannot find a more formidable opponent!
Finally, Pig Dice 3D is free! You heard that right. Play to your heart's content! Purchasing Pig Dice 3D in the App Store, though, lets you save your personal high scores. It also lets you change the spin rate, pop-up energy, and surface friction of the die.
